Absolutely, if you’ve never even touched a guitar before you’re more than welcome. I have taught loads of beginners over the years.

I teach all my guitar lessons from my dedicated home studio, located on Bishopton Road, TS19 0SD. It is the perfect environment to learn the guitar, calm relaxing and soundproof.

Yes, I teach children of all ages. For your peace of mind, I am fully CRB checked - please ask if you would like to view the certificate.

To begin with, we'll be working through study pieces & exercises tailored to your needs. It's essential that you have the basic core skills in place before we move on. After that, it's up to you. I can teach you to play your favourite music whatever your style.

Yes, block bookings and gift vouchers can also be arranged upon request subject to availability.

Lessons purchased via a gift certificate must commence within 3 months of purchase and be used within 3 months of their commencement date. I.e. end of March if lessons commence in January. Refunds will not be issued and lessons are subject to forfeit if not started within 3 months.

Cancellations can occur for many reasons, I try to be as flexible as possible when students need to cancel or move their lesson. Please remember if your lesson can be rearranged to a different time in the same week, no cancellation fees are charged. I do this as I would rather students get their lesson than not. Below is my cancellation policy:

• Less than 72 hours notice – Full lesson fee charged;
• More than 72 hours notice – No lesson fee charged;
• If I/tutor cancel or move your lesson time and you subsequently cannot make it – no lesson fee charged.
